General Entry Requirements:

Applicant must:

1.  satisfy the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic entry requirements for each relevant National Diploma Programme;

2.         pass at not below Lower Credit in the relevant National Diploma Programmes from accredited programmes/Institutions;

3.         have completed one year post National Diploma relevant work experience (evidence of industrial work experience is required).  Candidate with a pass at ND level would require 2 years post-qualification industrial experience;

4.         request his/her former Institution to send transcripts of his academic record to the Registrar, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta;

5.         Applicants who obtained their National Diploma (ND) from other Polytechnics with Pre-ND as their entry qualification shall not be admitted. Post-qualification School Certificate ordinary level results are not admissible.

PROGRAMMES:  

General Entry Requirements:

Applicants for Polytechnic Diploma in Sciences and Management courses must have at least three (3) credit passes and two (2) ordinary passes at WAEC/GCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB obtained at not more than one sitting. Credit passes must include one of Mathematics or English Language while the second must be at least a pass.

All successful Polytechnic Diplomates would be considered for admission into ND programmes but they must make up their deficiencies before graduating from ND programme.

I.     DIPLOMA IN  ENGINEE-RING

A credit pass in Mathematics and one other basic Science subject from any of Physics, Chemistry.  Candidates must have at least a pass in Physics.  Other passes may include Biology/ Agric Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electrical/Electronics, Wood Works and Auto Mechanics.

NOTE:  Candidates would be admitted to any of the under listed ND programmes based on academic performance at the completion of Diploma programmes.

II.                   DIPLOMA IN  ENVIRON-MENTAL STUDIES

Three credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level/WASC/SSCE/ NABTEB or equivalent from at least two of the under-listed subject groups and two (2) other passes

2.         Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science

3.         Geography, Economics, English Language, Account, Statistics and Computer studies.
